THE POSITION:

Meteorlogix, a division of DTN, is seeking Meteorologists to work in our Forecast Division which is a 24 x 7, state-of-the-art forecasting team that utilizes its own pioneering, in-house technology to analyze data from meteorological sources and create custom forecasts that identify high-impact weather events for its vast client base. Meteorologists have access to the most advanced equipment and the most complete data sets available. The primary focus of the forecast operation is geared toward the energy industry; however, other industries such as aviation, agriculture and transportation are also serviced.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Sciences
• 3-5 years operational forecasting experience essential
• High energy individuals only
• Display keen synoptic analysis and forecasting skills
• Excellent computer skills are essential
• Rotating shift-work is a requirement
• Experience in the Energy or Aviation industry a plus
