Web Application Developer - Java/ColdFusion

DTN is seeking a Web Application Developer to develop and maintain products using various Web technologies in the ColdFusion and Java environments. The chosen candidate will participate in the improvement of existing products, as well as the creation and design of new products for the DTN Web Hosting product platform. The Web Hosting development group will focus on enhancing the DTN specific content and functionality on our Agricultural based customer websites.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required.
• 3+ years design and development experience focused on ColdFusion and/or Java based web applications.
• Experience with ColdFusion is a strong plus.
• Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and database design required; experience with Microsoft SQL Server desired.
• Experience with Web Services required, preferably using Java.
• Experience using XML, HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, and CSS required.
• Skilled in analyzing product requirements and designing solutions accordingly required.
• Experience creating prototype applications and demonstrating them in order to help validate design ideas required.
• Proven experience in user-interface design and implementation for web-based solutions required.
• Ability to work both independently, and in a team, to achieve design and delivery goals is a must.
• Desire to stay ahead of trends in technology is a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
